I'd like to see if printer set-up and everything works smoothly, cause in an ideal world I'd have a Linux host, but tbh I gave up on it mostly. I'll also mostly be in Win10, so I figured it'd be better to use Win10 as host. ![]() ![]() I've just had plenty of issues with Linux (like not getting it to do over HDMI, the xrandr modes don't work for me) and don't want to spend days trying to set up a proper work environment. I also don't know if my Win10 software will perform properly (although it's nothing that needs a lot of resources). Linux driver options are limited (I need duplex print and scan etc., which is hard to impossible, at least for me, to set up in Linux). Is it possible to set up a printer+scanner in a Win10 VM the same way and as easy as in a Win10 host? By this I mean manufacturer provided drivers etc. Configure Static IP Address for VMFrom the screen shot above, you can see that there are three interfaces enabled on the virtual machine. I'm not sure if running Win10 as guest will do the trick though.
